Osterhage ready to replace Keitel at Freiburg, per Kicker
According to Kicker, Patrick Osterhage is ready to join Freiburg as a replacement for Yannik Keitel.
Since January, it has been clear that Yannik Keitel will be leaving Freiburg for Stuttgart on a free transfer at the end of the season, although the clubs have yet to officially confirm the move.
According to Kicker, Freiburg have now found their replacement for Keitel, namely VfL Bochum's Patrick Osterhage.
According to the report, the Bresigau outfit have reached an agreement in principle with the 24-year-old for a summer transfer.
Negotiations between the two clubs are likely already underway, with a fee in the single-digit million euro range likely to be agreed.
Freiburg were also interested in signing Osterhage in the summer of 2023, but failed to land him at that time.
