Bayer Leverkusen starlet Kai Havertz says he can learn a lot from watching Julian Brandt.

Havertz, 19, reveals he wants to emulate his teammate who has played at a World Cup and in the Champions at the age of 22.

"Julian Brandt is 22 years old and has already played at the World Cup and in the Champions League. He's obviously still young, but you can learn a lot from watching him, because he had a similar background as me at a young age," Havertz told Eurosport.

"I think there's always room to improve. To be honest, I'm still very young, and I still have a lot of things to learn," he added.

At the age of just 19, Havertz has already played nearly 100 games for Bayer Leverkusen. He has appeared three times for the German national team after making his debut in September 2018.
