Amiri would consider playing for Afghanistan if he doesn't get called up for Germany
Nadiem Amiri has a plan B if he doesn't get to play for Germany's senior national team in the future.

But representing 'Die Mannschaft' is the first priority for the Hoffenheim midfielder whose parents moved to Germany from Afghanistan in the 1980s.
"I want to play for Germany's senior national team. That's all that matters to me," Amiri told Bild.
"But if at some point I'm 28 or 29 years old and feel that I won't get a chance here, then maybe I'll play for Afghanistan."
"The Afghanistan Football Federation already wanted me to play for them when I was 17 or 18," he said.
Amiri, 22, has made 22 appearances for Germany's under-21 team, but would still be eligible to play for Afghanistan as he hasn't played for the senior side.
