Moussa Diaby: Tuchel recommended me to join Leverkusen
Bayer Leverkusen newcomer Moussa Diaby has revealed that his now former coach Thomas Tuchel advised him to make the switch to BayArena from PSG.
Moussa Diaby has revealed Paris Saint-Germain coach Thomas Tuchel recommended him to join Bayer Leverkusen.
The 20-year-old says he asked his new former coach about his opoinion before completing a €15 million move to BayArena from the French capital club.
"[Tuchel] advised me to go to Leverkusen. He said that it would be a good decision and that I would learn a lot here," Diaby said, according to SID.
"He's very close to the players and gives them a lot. He has a big heart," the winger added.
Diaby made a total of 34 appearances for PSG with four goals and seven assists to his name.
