In this Fantasy Bundesliga article, we will not be focusing on the most obvious premium options such as Jadon Sancho and Robert Lewandowski. Instead, we will take a look at the players who could offer great value as differentials for Matchday 4.

Goalkeepers:
Wolfsburg's first-choice keeper Koen Casteels is expected to be out for several weeks due to injury, so Pavao Pervan (Wolfsburg, 1.7M) is set to start instead. Priced at just 1.7 million, the 31-year-old is an excellent, cheap option in goal.

Zack Steffen (Fortuna Düsseldorf, 7.4M) remains a great value-for-money option as well, although you may want to avoid pairing him up with Pervan, now that Fortuna Düsseldorf and Wolfsburg will be up against each other this week.

Defenders:
Christopher Lenz (Union Berlin, 1.9M) and Nico Schlotterbeck (Freiburg, 3.3M) remain the top picks if you are looking for bargain defenders. Schlotterbeck should start ahead of Dominique Heintz once more, but you could go for Philipp Lienhart (Freiburg, 5M) or Robin Koch (Freiburg, 6.2M) if you want a more safe option.

Jonjoe Kenny (Schalke 04, 8.4M), who had a fine game and scored a goal against Hertha on Matchday 3, looks like a solid pick at 8.4 million. Jonathan Schmid (Freiburg, 9.9M) and Stefan Lainer (Gladbach, 10.4M) both offer great value for money, but you could also go for Jerome Roussillon (Wolfsburg, 12.5M) if you have a little more to spend.

Midfielders:
Robert Andrich (Union Berlin, 4.4M) has been among Union's stand-out performers and remains a tasty option with his low price-tag. Cauly Oliveira Souza (Paderborn, 5.1M), who scored for Paderborn last time around, is another cheap midfield option.

If you're willing to spend a little more, you could look at Daichi Kamada (Frankfurt, 6.5M), Nuri Sahin (Werder Bremen, 6.9M) and Erik Thommy (Fortuna Düsseldorf, 7.6M) who have all looked promising this season so far.

Amine Harit (Schalke 04, 7.8M) may not have collected a lot of Fantasy points yet, but is worth keeping tabs on as he plays a central role in new Schalke 04 coach David Wagner's system. Meanwhile, Josip Brekalo (Wolfsburg, 8.4M) is a great in-form option, having contributed with two goals and an assist in his last two games.

Finally, with the form Filip Kostic (Frankfurt, 13.8M) has been in this season, he's definitely worth considering despite his fairly high price tag.

Strikers:
Brandon Borrello (Freiburg, 3.1M) could be handed another start for Freiburg against Hoffenheim, with Vincenzo Grifo not being allowed to play against his former club this time around due to a clause in his contract. SC Paderborn's Streli Mamba (Paderborn, 5.2M) is another cheap option to consider. The 25-year-old has started out well this season, racking up two goals and one assist in his first three games.

Looking at the more expensive options, it's worth noticing that Andre Silva (Frankfurt, 10M) has been priced at just 10 million. It isn't completely certain that he will start against Augsburg, though, so bringing in Bas Dost (Frankfurt, 11M) for a little higher price might be a wiser decision at this stage.

Additionally, Luca Waldschmidt (Freiburg, 11.6M) remains a good option after looking sharp from the start of the season. Alassane Pléa (Gladbach, 12.7M is a little pricy, but has a lot of potential. The 26-year-old plays a big role under new Gladbach coach Marco Rose, takes both direct free-kicks and penalties and would have got on the scoresheet against RB Leipzig on Matchday with a little more luck.
