Here's our Bundesliga Team of the Week for Matchday 11.

Goalkeeper: Yann Sommer, Gladbach
The Swiss international made some important saves and kept out a penalty in Gladbach's 3-1 win over Werder Bremen.


Right-back: Christopher Trimmel, Union Berlin
Made three assists in Union Berlin's important 3-2 victory over Mainz.

Centre-back: Kaan Ayhan, Fortuna Düsseldorf
Did well under difficult circumstances against his former club. Looked very good on the ball and was an offensive threat.

Centre-back: David Alaba, Bayern München (2)
Put in a rock solid performance at the back for Bayern against Borussia Dortmund.

Left-back: Alphonso Davies, Bayern München
The Canadian winger put in an impressive performance at left-back against Borussia Dortmund, taking advantage of his blistering pace and physical strength.

Right midfielder: Patrick Herrmann, Gladbach (2)
The 28-year-old grabbed two goals in Gladbach's 3-1 win over Werder Bremen.


Central midfielder: Sebastian Rudy, Hoffenheim
Rudy was very dominant in midfield in Hoffenheim's 2-1 win over FC Köln in which he set up a goal.

Left midfielder: Marcus Thuram, Gladbach (5)
Continued his great form in Gladbach's 3-1 win over Werder Bremen, racking up an assist.

Offensive midfielder: Thomas Müller, Bayern München
Had a great game against Borussia Dortmund, setting up two of his side's goals.

Striker: Robert Lewandowski, Bayern München (4)
Lewandowski took his goal tally to 16 in the league this season as he netted a brace against Borussia Dortmund.

Striker: Rouwen Hennings, Fortuna Düsseldorf
The veteran striker is in the form of his life at the moment. On Saturday, he bagged a hat-trick in Fortuna Düsseldorf's 3-3 draw with Schalke 04.
