Kevin Volland to return from injury sooner than expected?
Kevin Volland has provided an update on his recovery from injury.
Bayer Leverkusen star Kevin Volland is 'making great progress' in his recovery from injury.
When the 27-year-old suffered a serious ankle injury in February, he was initially expected to be out for the rest of the season.
But speaking to Sky, Volland says he could be a few weeks ahead of schedule.
"I'm making great progress and feel confident that my full recovery will be a week or two ahead of schedule," the striker said.
