Milot Rashica to leave Werder for less than his €38 million release clause?

Milot Rashica has a €38 million release clause in his contract with Werder Bremen, but it seems he will probably leave the club for a smaller fee.
When and whether the current Bundesliga campaign will continue is currently unclear. But it will probably be Milot Rashica's last season in a Werder shirt.

If Werder manage to avoid relegation, Rashica will be available for €38 million thanks to a release clause.

But while 'The Green-Whites' are likely to cash in on the winger, they will almost certainly have to let him go for a smaller fee, according to Kicker.

The 23-year-old has had a disappointing second half of the season, and Kicker claims that his suitors have voiced concerns about his lack of consistency.

And as the world of football has been rattled by the coronavirus pandemic, even top clubs will have to thoroughly consider how to spend their money this summer.

With those factors in mind, Rashica's €38 million price tag is 'illusory', as per Kicker.
