Bundesliga arbiter Daniel Siebert to referee 2026 Champions League final

Sky Germany can confirm that Daniel Siebert has been named to referee the Champions League final between Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal at the end of this month.
The Bundesliga and DFB official – who has presided over 201 games in the German domestic topflight – was selected by the competition's governing body UEFA.
Siebert has also refereed a further 98 matches in the 2.Bundesliga and a total of 55 in the 3. Liga, alongside games in the European Championships and World Cup.
However, officiating for this game, which will be held on May 30 in Budapest, Hungary, is undoubtedly the biggest of his career having never refereed a major UEFA final before.
The Berlin native will be joined by compatriots Jan Seidel and Rafael Foltyn, who have also earned their stripes in the Bundesliga as assistant referees.
The fourth official is Swiss referee Sandro Schärer, while the video assistant referees are another pair of familiar Bundesliga arbiters' names in Bastian Dankert and Robert Schröder.
