Bayern Munich will once again be without Jamal Musiala when they face VfL Osnabrück away from home in the first round of the DFB-Pokal on Wednesday night, according to Sky Germany.
Musiala has missed Bayern's first two games of the season after suffering two collapses caused by absence seizures linked to a neurological condition during pre-season.
Head coach Vincent Kompany praised the 23-year-old on Tuesday, leaving the possibility of a return to the squad open for Wednesday's game.
However, Sky Germany now reports that it has been decided that Musiala will remain out of the squad for the time being, with the Germany international set to be gradually reintroduced to the demands of competitive football.
Instead of taking part in the team's preparations, Musiala completed an individual programme at Säbener Straße on Wednesday morning.
