New summer additions to the Bundesliga

The summer transfer window this year will be very different for every team. Some teams had already made new signings before the pandemic hit. Below is a list of a few faces that will be in new places.

Ragnar Ache - Sparta Rotterdam to Eintracht Frankfurt, €2 million, Forward, 21yrs - Born in Frankfurt, Ache will be joining Eintracht this summer. In his most recent season for Sparta, Ache had 18 appearances with 5 goals and 3 assists.


Johan Mina - CS Emelec to Werder Bremen, Free, Midfielder, 18yrs - The Golden Boot Winner (6 goals) of the U17 South American Championship last year, Mina will be eager to get to Germany as soon as he can. Due to contract issues with Emelec, Mina has only played and trained with the Ecuadorian youth national teams since the end of 2018.

Felix Agu - VfL Osnabrück to Werder Bremen, Free, Full-back, 20yrs - Agu signed a four-year deal with Bremen in early February when his contract with Osnabrück ran out. Agu has made 2 appearances for the Germany Under-21 squad.

Joe Scally - New York City FC to Borussia M'gladbach, €1.80m, Full-back, 17yrs - Joining Gladbach at the end of the 2020 MLS season, Scally is the newest young American to make his way over the Atlantic. In last year’s U17 World Cup, Scally made 3 appearances for the USA.

Dimitri Lavalée - Standard Liège to 1.FSV Mainz 05, Free, Center-back, 23yrs - In the Jupiler Pro League this past year, Lavalée made 5 appearances for Standard. He also played the full 90 in a Europa League match against Eintracht Frankfurt back in October.

Lennart Grill - 1.FC K’lautern to Bayer 04 Leverkusen, €2.00m, Goalkeeper, 21yrs - A member of every Germany youth level team since the U16’s, Lennart is a long-term project for Leverkusen. He has made 30 appearances with 7 clean sheets for Kaiserslautern this season in 3.Liga.


Josep Martinez - UD Las Palmas to RB Leipzig, €2.50m, Goalkeeper, 22yrs - Martinez is a former member of Barcelona’s famous La Masia academy and is also a part of Spain’s U21 team. This season for Las Palmas, he has made 16 appearances with 5 clean sheets in all competitions.
