David Alaba, Bayern München:
"Of course we would have loved to have our fans here. That's why we went over to the empty stand after the victory. But we are overjoyed that we will take the cup home with us."

On his free-kick goal: Robert Lewandowski and I actually wanted to try something else, but then I changed my mind and took the shot."

Serge Gnabry, Bayern München:
"We're so happy about winning the double. In the first half, we had the game completely under control and could have scored one or two more goals. After that, Levekrusen had a lot of counter-attacks, but in the end we won 4-2 - and that's the most important thing."

Robert Lewandowski, Bayern München
"We played really well, both offensively and defesnively. In the second half, we showed that we are the better team and that we wanted to win the cup."

On his first goal: "I noticed that the goalkeeper was a bit far off his line, so I thought I'd just give it a try. It was a little surprise that it went in, but you always have to try."

Hansi Flick, Bayern München coach:
"We're proud that we did it. What the team have achieved in the last few weeks is sensational. The attitude is simply fantastic. I'm very, very happy. The way the team perform is extraordinary."

Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, Bayern München CEO:
"[Hansi Flick] has done a great job. He let the team play like FC Bayern again and brought empathy back into the team. You can see the result now. Of course, everything is great here at the moment."

Lars Bender, Leverkusen captain:
"We have lacked courage, experience and confidence for much of today. We had the opportunities to make it an exciting game, but unfortunately we missed the chances we had."

Lukas Hradecky, Leverkusen:
"Bayern are strong. It wasn't easy, and conceding two goals got us into trouble. Our second half was better, but my mistake ruined everything. I'm sorry that this happened in a game like this."

Peter Bosz, Leverkusen coach:
"We lacked he final pass, so we weren't dangerous. We did better in the second half. We had huge chances, so it could have been a real game, but we didn't take advantage of them."
