New Bayern signings Nübel, Sarr, Roca, Costa and Choupo-Moting set to play in the DFB-Pokal

Bayern München's internationals are all expected to be rested for Thursday's DFB-Pokal encounter with FC Düren. This means that head coach Hansi Flick could start new signings Alexander Nübel, Bouna Sarr, Marc Roca, Douglas Costa and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting.

Five Bayern München players – Manuel Neuer, Niklas Süle, Joshua Kimmich, Leon Goretzka and Serge Gnabry – could start when Germany locks horns with Switzerland at the RheinEnergieStadion in Köln in the UEFA Nations League on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Benjamin Pavard, Corentin Tolisso, Lucas Hernandez and Kingsley Coman (France), Robert Lewandowski (Poland) and David Alaba (Austria) are all on international duty as well.

Therefore, none of them are expected to be involved when Bayern face fifth-tier side FC Düren in the DFB-Pokal on Thursday.

In the absence of the likes of Neuer, Kimmich and Lewandowski, new signings Alexander Nübel, Bouna Sarr, Marc Roca, Douglas Costa and Eric-Maxim Choupo-Moting should all be given a run out along with youngsters Chris Richards and Jamal Musiala.

Alphonso Davies could potentially feature as he hasn't been on duty for Canada while Jerome Boateng, Javi Martinez and Thomas Müller could add experience to the side.

This is how Bayern's second-string line up could look, according to Sport1 and Kicker:

Nübel - Sarr, Richards, Boateng, Davies - Roca, Martinez - Costa, Müller, Musiala - Choupo-Moting.
