Bayern Munich and Serge Gnabry appear to be nearing a contract extension that would keep the 30-year-old attacker at the club beyond 2026.

According to Bild’s Bayern Insider podcast, the two sides have reached an agreement in principle on a new two-year deal.

As part of the new contract, Gnabry is set to take a pay cut from his current €18 million per year, with his salary expected to be just under €15 million annually.

In the “very best case,” the figure could rise to €16 million per year through performance bonuses.

This season, Gnabry has racked up five goals and seven assists in 20 appearances for Bayern.
