In this Fantasy Bundesliga article, we will not be focusing on the obvious premium options such as Erling Haaland or Robert Lewandowski.

Instead, we will highlight players with an ownership percentage below 10%, who could offer great value as differentials for Matchday 8.

Keep in mind that there is no transfer limit this time around, so you can make all the changes you want until the round kicks off on Saturday.

Frederik Rønnow, Schalke 04 (Goalkeeper, 2.1m)
Rønnow has made the most of his chance while Ralf Fährmann has been injured, taking 29 points from four games. Fährmann is now back in training, but the Danish international should have a good chance of keeping his starting spot with the form he has shown. Speaking ahead of Saturday's game against Wolfsburg, Schalke coach Manuel Baum revealed he has decided who will be in goal, but said he wanted to speak to both goalkeepers before æpublicly announcing it. In any case, you will be able to see if Rønnow is in the line-up before the Fantasy Bundesliga transfer window closes since Schalke play on Saturday at 15.30 CET.

Maxence Lacroix, Wolfsburg (Defender, 4.4m)
Priced at just 4.4 million, Lacroix is a solid pick if you're looking for a cheap defender. The young centre-back has been a consistent source of points this season and plays for a Wolfsburg side with the second best defensive record in the league and an appealing run of fixtures to come.

Lucas Hernandez, Bayern München (Defender, 12m)
If you don't already own Hernandez, it's probably time to get him in. With Alphonso Davies still sidelined with an injury, the French international should be nailed on to start in the weeks to come. Hernandez picked up 15 points against Dortmund last time around, taking his tally of 56, which makes him the sixth highest-scoring defender this season.

Raphael Guerreiro, Dortmund (Defender, 15m)
If Guerreiro can pick up where he left off before the international break, he's a must-have player in defence. The Portuguese international has registered 48 points from his last three games – and he only started two of them. Even though Dortmund lost 2-3 to Bayern on Matchday 7, he picked up 22 points from that game alone after setting up both of his side's goals.

Florian Wirtz, Leverkusen (Midfielder, 6.7m)
At the age of just 17, Wirtz has managed to nail down a starting spot in attacking midfield for Leverkusen. Having scored once and set up three goals in his last three games in all competitions, the youngster is a steal at 6.7 million.

Valentino Lazaro, Gladbach (Midfielder, 9.5m)
Following their 3-4 loss against Leverkusen on Matchday, which saw Valentino Lazaro score a goal of the season contender, Gladbach now have a very favorable schedule. With Jonas Hofmann expected to be sidelined for the rest of the year after sustaining an injury on international duty, Lazaro is expected to come into Gladbach's line-up and will look to make the most of his chance against Augsburg on Saturday. Should you want to invest more in a Gladbach midfielder, Lars Stindl is a great option at 13 million.

Vincenzo Grifo, Freiburg (Midfielder, 12m)
Coming off an international break that saw him bag a brace in Italy's 4-0 win over Estonia last week, Grifo should head into Sunday's game against crisis-hit Mainz with plenty of confidence. Having already chipped in with two goals and two assists this season, the 27-year-old winger could be a great differential pick.

Taiwo Awoniyi, Union Berlin (Striker, 6m)
With Joel Pohjanpalo set to miss out for several months due to an injury, Taiwo Awoniyi should lead the line for Union, who are without a loss in their last six games. The 23-year-old still hasn't scored for the Berlin club, but could end his barren spell against a FC Köln side, who are yet to win a league game this season.

Lucas Alario, Leverkusen (Striker, 11.4m)
Alario has been in fantastic form lately, scoring seven goals in his last four Bundesliga games. Nevertheless, the Argentine striker's starting spot is under threat now that Patrik Schick has returned from an injury, but he should at least stay in the line-up for Saturday's clash with Arminia Bielefeld, who have lost their last five games. Fortunately, since Leverkusen play on Saturday at 15:30 CET, you will be able to see if he starts before the transfer deadline.

Andrej Kramaric, Hoffenheim (Striker, 14.9m)
Kramaric started out the season with six goals in Hoffenheim's first three Bundesliga games and was in red-hot form before testing positive for coronavirus in October. After missing his side's last four games, the Croatian striker should come back into the line-up for Saturday's home clash with Stuttgart. If he can recapture the form he showed earlier this season, he is surely worth his price tag.
