Erling Haaland wins Golden Boy award
Erling Haaland has been awarded the Golden Boy award.
Borussia Dortmund star Erling Haaland has won the Golden Boy award given to the most promising player under 21 every year.
The award is handed out by Italian newspaper Tuttosport based on the votes of sports journalists from various countries.
Haaland clinched the award ahead of Alphonso Davies (Bayern München), Ansu Fati (Barcelona) and his teammate Jadon Sancho.
He follows in the footsteps of Mario Götze, Kylian Mbappé and Lionel Messi, among others.
