Official: Leipzig-Liverpool moves to Budapest, two German teams still seek venues

UEFA officially sanctioned RB Leipzig's move of a home Champions League fixture to the Puskas Arena in Budapest on Sunday.

Hoffenheim and Gladbach still need to secure alternate venues for their upcoming European club cup fixtures.
At least one of the Bundesliga's international club football scheduling problems has been solved. On Sunday, governing body UEFA confirmed that the February 9th home leg of RB Leipzig's round-of-16 UCL draw with be moved to neighboring Hungary.

A decision has not yet been made on the fate of the other hosting side from the Bundesrepublik. Borussia Mönchengladbach's home leg fixture against Manchester City on February 24th may also be moved to Budapest or possibly FC Midtjylland's stadium in Herning, Denmark.

In terms of Germany's Europa League representatives, no decision has been made on a possible alternative venue for TSG 1899 Hoffenheim's February 18th fixture against Molde FK. Current travel restrictions preclude the German side from traveling to Norway.

A Leverkusen fixture against Young Boys Bern in Switzerland is not, as of yet affected by any travel restrictions. German UCL representatives Bayern München should be able to travel to meet with respective opponents in Italy and Spain unhindered.
