TSG Hoffenheim officially struck five players from the selection pool for tomorrow's Europa League fixture on Wednesday.
Norwegian defender Havard Nordtveit will not get the opportunity to play against some of his compatriots due to a contusion on his foot. Striker Ishak Belfodil (adductor problems) and Robert Skov (knee issues) have also been ruled out.
As reported earlier, there did exist some hope that talismanic striker Andrej Kramaric might be fit in time for the fixture. Trainer Sebastian Hoeneß officially nixed the possibility on Wednesday, saying that the club would not test the attacker's ankle injury.
It was also revealed of Wednesday that Ryan Sessengnon, for whom there also existed a bit of hope for return-wise, suffered a setback in training and would again be sidelined indefinitely.
