After selling Benjamin Sesko to Manchester United in a reported €85 million deal, RB Leipzig are now on the hunt for a replacement for the Slovenian international.

According to Sky Germany, Die Roten Bullen have already agreed on personal terms with their top target - Wolverhampton Wanderers forward Fábio Silva.

The main obstacle remains Wolves’ asking price of €25-30 million, which Leipzig consider too high given Silva has just one year left on his contract.

Accordingly, Leipzig are working to negotiate the fee down, similar to Borussia Dortmund, who have also presented a contract to the Portuguese forward.

If Leipzig fail to sign Silva, they could turn their attention to other candidates such as Göztepe’s Rômulo, Ricardo Pepi from PSV or Franculino Djú from FC Midtjylland.
