There’s mixed news on the injury front for VfB Stuttgart ahead of their Supercup clash with Bayern Munich on Saturday.
On the positive side, Angelo Stiller has a good chance of making the starting eleven against his former club, having seemingly recovered fully from a partial ankle ligament tear.
According to local outlet Stuttgarter Nachrichten, the 24-year-old took full part in Stuttgart’s training session on Tuesday.
Alexander Nübel, however, remains a major doubt as he is still not training fully with the team due to elbow problems.
If the Bayern loanee is not declared fit to face his parent club, Fabian Bredlow will be ready to step in between the sticks.
