Eintracht Frankfurt sporting director Timmo Hardung has prematurely extended his contract with the club until 2028.

Hardung has been with the Hessian Bundesliga club since June 2021 and has served as sporting director since July 2023.

During his tenure to date, Frankfurt has managed to qualify for a European football competition in every season.

From 2015 to 2019, he worked as team manager at TSG Hoffenheim, then headed the professional player division at RB Leipzig for two years.

In the summer of 2021, he moved to Eintracht Frankfurt, where he also initially took over as head of the professional player division.

“Since Timmo Hardung joined Eintracht, we have continued our previously successful collaboration and have achieved a great deal together.

"He has been Sporting Director for several years and, as such, is naturally an important part of our strategic and sporting goals for the future.

“Therefore, we are delighted that we have been able to extend Timmo's contract for the long term,” said sporting director Markus Krösche.
