VfB Stuttgart eye exciting A-League teenage striker

He will almost surely star for Stuttgart II in the Regionalliga Südwest, the fourth-tier of the German league system, if a move materializes.

A-League teenage prospect Alou Kuol has been the talk of the Australian League this season. He has admirers all the way from Germany, with VfB Stuttgart reportedly interested in luring the Sudan striker all the way to the German top-tier.

Kuol is a center-forward who possesses a keen eye for goal and at only 19 years of age, he has immense potential to play an important role in any team he steps into.

Multiple sources from Australia have confirmed that Stuttgart scouts have been present in several of Central Coast Mariners games this season and a move to the Mercedes-Benz Arena is imminent at the end of the season.

Stuttgart’s sporting director Sven Mislintat is famous for eyeing top draw talents, including the likes of Robert Lewandowski, Kagawa and Aubameyang, when he was chief scout at Dortmund. John Grimaud, who manages Kuol, maintains a close relationship with the Stuttgart chief – according to various sources.

The striker’s worth stands at around €400,000, according to transfermarkt.

Kuol most recently showed his worth after coming off the bench on Thursday night to score the winner against Adelaide United in a entertaining 2-1 victory – his seventh of the season, in fifteen appearances.



He is also the club’s leading goal scorer this season.
