Hoeness praises Rutter: 'He could make the starting eleven'
Georginio Rutter could be in line to make his third Bundesliga start for Hoffenheim after impressing from the bench against Augsburg.
Hoffenheim coach Sebastian Hoeness feels spoilt for choice when it comes to selecting his starting eleven for today's Bundesliga tie against Union Berlin.
"The competition in training is increasing. Right now, I couldn't name a starting eleven. I'm therefore looking forward to the next few training drills," said Hoeness at Friday's pre-match press conference.
19-year-old forward Georginio Rutter will be pushing to start after he came on to score and set up a goal in last week's 4-0 victory over Augsburg.
"Georginio played an important role against Augsburg. He could therefore make the starting eleven. We'll see," said Hoeness.
The Hoffenheim coach also revealed that Pavel Kaderabek and Florian Grillitsch are both doubts while Håvard Nordtveit and Ihlas Bebou are expected back in training next week.
