Maxence Lacroix has admitted he was frustrated that Wolfsburg didn't want to sell him to RB Leipzig during the summer transfer window.

According to reports, 'Die Wölfe' rejected two bids from Leipzig before eventually declaring the 21-year-old centre-back not for sale.

"I was a bit angry", Lacroix explained in an interview with Kicker.

"It was hard for me. I'm young, it was the first time for me that several offers came in for me. I wanted the transfer.

"But now, I'm here, playing in the Champions League, we just beat Leipzig, and we're top of the Bundesliga. It's perfect, I'm happy. I'm 100 percent here."
