Poulsen would only consider leaving Leipzig for one of Europe's biggest clubs

Yussuf Poulsen has revealed that he would only consider leaving RB Leipzig for one of the eight biggest clubs in Europe.

Yussuf Poulsen has been playing for RB Leipzig since 2013 - and while he's mostly used as a substitute these days, the Denmark international sees no reason to leave Die Roten Bullen any time soon.

"I had no reason to look around [during the summer]. Nothing has changed for me compared to last season. I'm happy in Leipzig," Poulsen told Sport Bild.

When the draw for this year's Champions League was made, RB Leipzig were in Pot 1 alongside the likes of Real Madrid, Manchester City, Bayern Munich and Liverpool.

And it would take an offer from one of the other eight clubs in the top pot to make the 30-year-old think about leaving Leipzig.

“Leipzig are in pot one of the Champions League. So there are only eight clubs in Europe that can offer me the same in terms of sport. If they don't make an offer, we don't need to talk,” Poulsen emphasized.

Poulsen, 30, has been limited to just 18 minutes of football in three games this season.
