Report: Roma and West Ham express interest in Leweling

AS Roma and West Ham are reportedly interested in Jamie Leweling, who is on loan at Stuttgart from Union Berlin.

Jamie Leweling has been impressing for Stuttgart on loan from Union Berlin this season, scoring four goals and providing seven assists in 31 Bundesliga appearances for the Swabians.

Should Stuttgart wish to keep him, they can make use of a reported €6 million release clause that must be triggered by the end of May.

A decision has yet to be made, however, as the club are still considering whether or not to spend that amount on the striker.

Should they decide against signing him, it seems that Leweling wouldn't have any problems finding another club, with Sport Bild reporting that both AS Roma and West Ham have expressed interest in him.

A return to Union Berlin, where he is under contract until 2026, seems unlikely.
