Oliver Baumann is eyeing up a return to the TSG Hoffenheim team, according to reports from Kicker.

Having suffered an injury to the plantar fascia in his foot, the 34-year-old was spotted back on the training pitch this afternoon.

Given the fact that it was only a partial role in training, Baumann will not feature in goal this weekend against VfL Bochum.

Back up goalkeeper Luca Philipp, who has been in inspired form of late with several saves in the 1-1 draw with Stuttgart, will be between the posts once again.

However, Baumann who is making steady progress could be in contention to return as Hoffenheim’s first choice shot-stopper against Heidenheim and St.Pauli.
