Deniz Undav and Chris Führich spoke with the media after Stuttgart’s 3-0 win away at Holstein Kiel in the DFB-Pokal. The duo scored the first goals before Atakan Karazor put the icing on the cake on a cold night in Kiel.

“We rightly expected a tough and physical game here,” said Undav, who was actively involved in all three goals. “At the beginning, we were a bit erratic in possession. We wanted to score an early goal, which unfortunately we didn't manage. After the first goal, things became easier for us overall.”

Undav reached 15 goals in all competitions this season, with five of them coming since the turn of the year. Führich and Atakan Karazor scored after rounding Kiel’s cup goalkeeper Timon Weiner in the closing stage of the game.

“The conditions were very difficult with a tough opponent,” said Führich after scoring his first goal of the competition this term. “It wasn't easy, but we knew what to do and the lead was deserved. In the end, we were a bit lucky that Kiel didn't capitalize on their chance. And, we saw it out comfortably in the end.”
