Bayer Leverkusen in talks with AS Monaco's Akliouche

The gifted French star is being pursued by Die Werkself.

Bayer Leverkusen are still searching the market for a high-class winger, according to Sky Germany's latest update.

AS Monaco's Maghnes Akliouche remains a dream target, as exclusively revealed and initial talks have already taken place.

Leverkusen are checking one or two more options, but the 23-year-old winger from Monaco is at the very top of their list.

However, Die Werkself are not alone in their pursuit of Akliouche who has received several enquiries from various top European clubs. 

Last season, the 23-year-old made a total of 32 appearances for the principality club whilst scoring 5 times and providing 10 assists.

Akliouche is yet to receive a French senior national team call-up, but has played at U-20, U-21 and represented them at the 2024 Olympics.
