Bayern loan Vinlöf out to Austrian top flight

German record champions FC Bayern München have confirmed yet another developmental loan-out for a young prospect.

Not long after loaning young Croatian talent Lovro Zvonarek out to the Austrian Bundesliga, German giants FC Bayern München have also parked young Swedish prospect Matteo Perez Vinlöf down South. The 18-year-old received a professional contract on Friday morning and an immediate loan out to FK Austria Wien. Vinlöf will work at the same club at which Frans Krätzig excelled last spring.

The Swedish youth international - like Zvonarek - made his senior team debut for Thomas Tuchel's FCB late in the season. Linöf logged 16 minutes as a substitute in the match-day 33 victory over VfL Wolfsburg. He scored one goals and registered four assists in 23 Appearances for the Bayern reservers in the Bavarian Regionalliga.

"Matteo is an extremely hard-working, disciplined player who made a name for himself and has already made his debut with our professionals," FCB sporting director Christoph Freund noted in a statement, "he's [also] been nominated for Sweden's senior national team for good reason. We are convinced that he can take the next step in Vienna."
