Report: Bayern show interest in French youngster

Bayern Munich are said to have targeted Stade Rennes' Désiré Doué.

Stade Rennes winger Désiré Doué has attracted interest from Bayern Munich, according to Sky Germany.

The report claims that the 19-year-old is high on Bayern's list, but whether they step up their interest this summer will depend on potential sales, especially with Michael Olise set to join from Crystal Palace and Bayern also showing considerable interest in Paris Saint-Germain's Xavi Simons.

Kingsley Coman and Serge Gnabry could both leave the club this summer, but the latter seems more keen to stay, at least based on the comments he made in an interview with Sky Germany a week ago.

Bayern are far from the only clubs linked with Doué, with Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain, FC Barcelona, Bayer Leverkusen and Borussia Dortmund also reportedly among his suitors

Despite his young age, Doué has made 76 appearances for Rennes, scoring 8 goals and providing 7 assists.
