If a report from Turkey is to be believed, Jacob Bruun Larsen is set to move from TSG Hoffenheim to VfB Stuttgart.

While looking into rumors linking Trabzonspor with the Danish winger, Turkish journalist Hasan Tüncel claims to have found out that Stuttgart have won the race to sign the 26-year-old.

According to the report, the transfer is expected to be made official next week.

Bruun Larsen, who played under Stuttgart coach Sebastian Hoeness at Hoffenheim in the past, has been linked with a move to the Swabians for some time.

And with six months left on his current contract, a move doesn't seem unlikely - either now, when Hoffenheim could still get a fee for him, or in the summer, when he becomes a free agent.

However, the former Borussia Dortmund winger's playing time at Hoffenheim has increased significantly since Christian Ilzer took over as head coach, which should improve his club's chances of persuading him to stay.

Bruun Larsen joined Hoffenheim from Borussia Dortmund in January 2020.
