RB Leipzig have confirmed that Timo Werner's loan spell at Tottenham has been extended for another season.
The 28-year-old striker, who moved to Tottenham on loan in January, will also spend the 2024/25 season on loan at the London club.
Tottenham also have an option to sign Werner permanently in the summer of 2025.
“We're very happy to have found a solution for both parties so early on in the off-season,” said RB Leipzig sporting director Rouven Schröder.
"Timo's loan move in January paid off in every aspect, so we wanted to open the door for it to continue. Up until his injury, he was getting regular game time, starting almost every game for Tottenham, showing his quality, and playing an important role.
"We wish Timo all the best in London for the new season and hope that he can enjoy continued success."
Werner's contract with Leipzig expires in 2026.
