In this Fantasy Bundesliga article, we will not be focusing on the most obvious picks such as Florian Wirtz and Harry Kane.
Instead, we will highlight players with a maximum ownership percentage of 20%, who could offer great value as differentials for Matchday 3.
Anrie Chase, Stuttgart (Defender, 1M, 18%)
Priced at 1 million, Chase is currently the cheapest starter in the game - and he even picked up a respectable 167 points against Mainz last week despite the fact that Stuttgart conceded three goals. This weekend's match against Gladbach will probably come too soon for Anthony Rouault and Dan Axel Zagadou, so Chase looks in line to get another start alongside Jeff Chabot in Stuttgart's central defense.
Lukas Kübler, Freiburg (Defender, 7M, 12%)
Kübler could not have asked for a better start to the season, scoring a brace in Freiburg's 3-1 season-opening win over Stuttgart. Of course, you can't expect that kind of performance from him every week, but it shows that he's capable of producing good attacking returns while also picking up a solid amount of points from duels won. As expected, he had a quiet game against Bayern on Matchday 2, but with Freiburg facing struggling Bochum this time around, he should see more attacking involvement. It's hard to find a better alternative in defense at his price.
Ramy Bensebaini, Borussia Dortmund (Defender, 11M, 1%)
Bensebaini is expected to step in for the suspended Nico Schlotterbeck and could prove to be an excellent one-week punt. A natural left-back with attacking strengths, Bensebaini should see plenty of time on the ball in a game against Heidenheim that BVB are expected to dominate.
Raphael Guerreiro, Bayern (Defender, 14M, 1%)
Guerreiro became a Fantasy Bundesliga favorite during his time at Borussia Dortmund, but he has struggled to reach those heights at Bayern Munich. That could change with Vincent Kompany at the helm, with Bayern now playing more possession-based football. Guerreiro currently seems to be ahead of Davies in the pecking order and should see plenty of the ball against newly promoted Holstein Kiel.
Pascal Gross, Borussia Dortmund (Midfielder, 11M, 15%)
With an average of 230 points in his first two games, Gross has provided great value for money at 11 million. Pulling the strings in Dortmund's midfield, the German international should be a consistent performer this season.
Vincenzo Grifo, Freiburg (Midfielder, 12M, 6%)
Grifo may not be at the level he was a few years ago, but he still plays a very important role for Freiburg as their set piece taker. He showed that on Matchday 1 when he scored 262 points against Stuttgart. Freiburg now have a really attractive schedule, facing Bochum, Heidenheim, St. Pauli, Werder and Augsburg in their next five games, so now seems like a good time to pick up Grifo.
Nadiem Amiri, Mainz (Midfielder, 13M, 3%)
After an impressive second half of last season with Mainz, Amiri has continued his performances in the new campaign, averaging 245 points in his first two games. The former Bayer Leverkusen man should continue to perform well as his team's playmaker and set-piece taker.
Kevin Stöger, Gladbach (Midfielder, 15M, 5%)
Another highly involved midfielder, Stöger has averaged 235 points per game so far. His 251-point haul against Leverkusen on Matchday 1 showed that he's capable of scoring against any opposition.
Junior Adamu, Freiburg (Striker, 6M, 3%)
Adamu has emerged as Freiburg's starting striker under new coach Julian Schuster. He's scored two goals (both in the DFB-Pokal) and provided an assist in three games so far this season, and has favorable run of fixtures ahead of him.
Serge Gnabry, Bayern (Striker, 13M, 5%)
Gnabry is currently the third-highest scoring striker in the game so, only behind Omar Marmoush and Andrej Kramaric. Costing 7 million less than Harry Kane, whom he has outscored by 91 points so far, he offers a cheaper way into the Bayern frontline for their trip to Holstein Kiel. The question is, though - do you really want to go into that game without Kane?
