Germany could be without both of their preferred central defenders for Saturday's Euro 2024 last-16 clash.
Jonathan Tah will definitely miss the game through suspension after picking up his second yellow card of the tournament in Sunday's 1-1 draw with Switzerland.
And Antonio Rüdiger is also in danger of missing out with a thigh problem.
"Toni has a little problem with his thigh. We'll have to see what comes of it. I hope it's nothing serious. It could be problematic," said Germany coach Julian Nagelsmann after Sunday's draw.
Nico Schlotterbeck is expected to replace Jonathan Tah on Saturday. Waldemar Anton seems to be the main candidate to come in for Rüdiger if he can't play, with Robin Koch also an option.
Germany will play the second-placed team in Group C, where there's still everything to play for, on Saturday at 21:00. Their opponents will be either England, Slovenia, Denmark or Serbia.
