Borussia Mönchengladbach attempted a late swoop for FC Copenhagen defender Kevin Diks in the summer, but the deal ultimately fell through.
However, that doesn't mean the Bundesliga outfit have given up on Diks, according to Bild, who claims that Die Fohlen still have the centre-back on their radar.
Gladbach have a transfer budget of €4 million for January, which is roughly the price that was discussed for Diks last summer.
With the 28-year-old out of contract in the summer, FC Copenhagen may opt to cash in rather than lose him for free.
Should one of Gladbach's current centre-backs, such as Ko Itakura or Nico Elvedi, be on the move in January, the Bundesliga outfit could be particularly tempted to make a new move for Diks.
The Dutchman has been playing for FC Copenhagen since 2021, when he joined the club from Fiorentina.
