Kimmich and Boey return to Bayern training, Pavlovic absent

Having missed out on the Bavarians' game with VfB Stuttgart, the duo appear to be returning in time for the all-German affair in the UCL knockouts.

Joshua Kimmich looks set to feature for Bayern Munich against Bayer Leverkusen in the UEFA Champions League, according to BILD.

The 30-year-old has been suffering from tendon irritation since he was substituted off against Eintracht Frankfurt on Matchday 23.

Germany’s popular tabloid stated the midfielder could “increase his training workload” at Sabener Strasse today.

It comes as a great positive for Vincent Kompany ahead of the Round of 16 knockout tie.

Elsewhere on the training ground, Sacha Boey was spotted with the Frenchman involved in the entirety of the session.

Both Boey (flu) and Kimmich were absent from Bayern’s 3-1 win over Stuttgart last Friday but appear to be on the mend since.

Meanwhile, Aleksandar Pavlovic (flu) was not spotted and is therefore a doubt for Wednesday night's fixture.
