Bayern Munich is reportedly willing to spend around €100million on a transfer for Florian Wirtz, BILD reports.
This figure is still significantly less than the €150million Bayer Leverkusen is asking for the 22-year-old.
Germany's popular tabloid believes Bayern won't pay that, so this is Liverpool's chance.
The question is whether the new crowned Premier League champions, who often don't spend much, can meet the asking price.
Later developments from Sky as well as other journalists like David Ornstein and Florian Plettenberg believe Wirtz has given Liverpool his verbal agreement.
