Report: Leverkusen set to land French striker

France's RMC sport reports that Stade Rennes striker Martin Terrier is on the verge of transferring to German Champions Bayer 04 Leverkusen.

Defending Bundesliga champions Bayer 04 Leverkusen have reportedly secured themselves another striker ahead of the new Bundesliga campaign. France's RMC sport reports that Germany's red company team have reached an agreement with Stade Rennes over the purchase of 27-year-old former French youth international Martin Terrier.

The Franch veteran has scored a total of 60 goals and collected 24 assists in a total of eight seasons playing for Rennes, Olympique Lyon, Racing Straßburg, and Lille OSC. He netted nine goals and garnered four assists in the just-completed campaign. At present, Terrier maintains an estimated market worth of €20 million in the latest transfermarkt listings.
