Bayern Munich have been boosted by the return of Jamal Musiala from a hip injury for their Champions League clash with FC Barcelona on Wednesday night.

At a press conference on Tuesday, Bayern coach Vincent Kompany wouldn't reveal whether he was planning to start the 21-year-old, but it now appears that a decision has been made.

According to Sky Germany, Musiala is expected to start on the bench, with Thomas Müller retaining his starting spot in the central attacking midfield position.

The report claims that Kompany is planning to make just one change to the team that beat Stuttgart 4-0 at the weekend, with Joao Palhinha set to start in place of the injured Aleksandar Pavlovic.

Projected lineup: Neuer - Guerreiro, Kim, Upamecano, Davies - Kimmich, Palhinha - Gnabry, Müller, Olise - Kane.
