Tousart 'deliberately signed a five-year contract' with Hertha

Hertha BSC midfielder Lucas Tousart says he doesn't regret joining the German capital club.
Lucas Tousart insists he hasn't thought about leaving Hertha BSC since his €25 million switch from Olympique Lyon.

German businessman Lars Windhorst is said to have invested a whopping €375 million in Hertha since 2019, but things are yet to take off for the German capital club, who are currently 13th after finishing 14th last season.

Nevertheless, Tousart says he hasn't thought about leaving Hertha since moving to Germany in the summer of 2020.

"The question did not arise for me. I deliberately signed a five-year contract," the French midfielder explained in an interview with Kicker.

"I knew it would take time. I was set on a long-term commitment and still am. After this season, we will analyze what was good and what was bad and how we can get better," he continued.

The 24-year-old has featured 12 times for Hertha thsi season.
