Marvin Plattenhardt has revealed he is open to staying at Hertha BSC for the rest of his career.

The 29-year-old left-back's current deal expires in 2023. As of now, he has held no talks with Hertha about extending his contract, but he could imagine signing a new deal.

"There are no talks going on yet, but I can well imagine staying with Hertha forever," Plattenhardt told Sport Bild.

"I'm fully motivated, will continue to work hard on myself and try to show good, consistent performances. I'll let everything else come to me in a relaxed manner."

Plattenhardt joined Hertha from FC Nürnberg in 2014.
