Reyna returns to partial team training

While neither Jude Bellingham nor Thorgan Hazard were able to take part in team training on Tuesday afternoon, the BVB did welcome back a familiar face into some drills ahead of schedule.
Some two weeks removed from his 19th birthday, American phenom Giovanni Reyna returned to the Dortmund training pitch to the applause of his teammates on Tuesday afternoon. The talented teenager took part in some group passing drills before training individually for the rest of the afternoon.

Reyna returns to the BVB practice pitch well ahead of schedule. A possible to return to match fitness in time for Saturday's showdown against FC Bayern München nevertheless seems unlikely. Given the severity of the muscle injury that has sidelined him since September, it's doubtful that Marco Rose will include Gio for the bench squad.

In other injury news concerning the club, both Erling Haaland and Raphaël Guerreiro took part in team drills on Tuesday. Jude Bellingham and Thorgan Hazard remained absent. The status of both players can thus still be considered doubtful.
