Bayern eye Lyon star
Bayern München are interested in Olympique Lyon's Nabil Fekir and recently sent out the club's chief scout to watch him play.
Olympique Lyon star Nabil Fekir has drawn attention from Bayern München, Kicker understands.
The Bavarians have been keeping an eye on the 25-year-old for some time now and recently sent out chief scout Laurent Busser to France to watch the Champions League game between Olympique Lyon and Shakhtar Donetsk at the beginning of this month.
The offensive midfielder nearly joined Liverpool in the summer, and he reportedly had already agreed on a five-year contract and given his first interview to the club's TV channel when Lyon pulled out of the negotiations.
Fekir's contract with Lyon runs out in 2020, and his market value is estimated at €60-70 million. His advisor is Jean-Pierre Bernes who also represents Franck Ribery.
The 25-year-old is currently suffering from an ankle injury, and therefore he will not be involved when Hoffenheim take on Lyon in the Champions League on Tuesday. He has made eight appearances this season with three goals and three assists to his name.
Fekir was also mentioned on a list of Bayern München's alleged transfer targets that Bild published earlier this month.
