Fantasy Bundesliga: Must-haves and differentials for Matchday 20

Ahead of Matchday 20, we have highlighted a must-have player (M) and a differential pick (D) from each game that you should consider for your Fantasy Bundesliga team.
Eintracht Frankfurt v. DSC Arminia Bielefeld:

M: Jesper Lindstrom, Midfielder (SGE, 8.5M, 2%) - Lindstrom has been a massive bright spot for Frankfurt lately, bringing an attacking spark that has been much needed for the Eagles. With six shots taken last matchday against Augsburg, Lindstrom should be puzzled as to why he didn't put one in the back of the net. He will have his sights set on changing that this weekend.

D: Diant Ramaj, Keeper (SGE, 1M, 0%) - Ramaj had a promising debut and should get the start again with Kevin Trapp out with covid. He is a cheap transfer and has the opportunity to grab a decent amount of Fantasy points.

Bayer 04 Leverkusen v. FC Augsburg:

M: Mitchel Bakker, Defender (B04, 6.4M, 4%) - After missing quite some time, Bakker is three games back and is rounding into the elite form he was showing earlier in the season. He is a massive steal as well at less than 7M. Although, this is all good and exciting as long as he doesn’t move to England.

D: Ricardo Pepi, Forward (FCA, 8M, 0%) - In his first start, Pepi registered two shots with both of those being on target. He showed glimpses of the hype and could put some doubters to rest with a good performance.

Borussia Mönchengladbach v. 1. FC Union Berlin:

M: Yann Sommer, Keeper (BMG, 9.6M, 23%) - Sommer has been a freak of nature this season. He has scored double digit Fantasy points in his last three matches, including his all-world performance last week, garnering an incredible 24 Fantasy points in a loss. He should continue his dominance between the sticks.

D: Grischa Prömel, Midfielder (FCU, 6.8M, 0%) - Prömel has three goals and an assist in his last three matches. Clearly the best run of form of his life so you could ride the wave another week to see if it can do some more damage before it subsides.

Sport-Club Freiburg v. VfB Stuttgart:

M: Vincenzo Grifo, Midfielder (SCF, 15M, 8%) - Freiburg will just have to put last week's horrible performance behind them and register it just as a blip on their otherwise great season. To get out of their slump will require top drawer performances from their best player.

D: Orel Mangala, Midfielder (VFB, 7.9M, 1%) - Mangala has put on his shooting boots the last few weeks, showing some eye for the goal that we haven’t seen in months. Stuttgart are dangerously close to having the rug ripped from underneath them and falling back into the second division so it’s time for some desperate measures and go for glory.

SpVgg Greuther Fürth v. 1. FSV Mainz 05:

M: Jonathan Burkardt, Forward (M05, 8.1M, 2%) - Burkardt had a great assist and an all-around fantastic game last week in Mainz’s solid 1-nil win over Bochum. They could make a serious jump in the table with a win this weekend and Burkardt is sure to shine.

D: Jae-sung Lee, Midfielder (M05, 6.7M, 1%) - Sticking with the theme that Mainz should have a better outcome in the match, Lee offers great value with plenty of upside.

TSG Hoffenheim v. Borussia Dortmund:

M: Mahmoud Dahoud, Midfielder (BVB, 9.7M, 5%) - Dahoud’s confidence is at an all-time high and it is certainly showing on the pitch. Making a mockery of the players around him, Dahoud had his way during the game showing how he can provide and score with the best of them.

D: Munas Dabbur, Forward (TSG, 6.8M, 0%) - Although Dortmund has been scoring at will, their defense has still been questionable and Hoffenheim are almost guaranteed to grab at least one goal.

VfL Bochum 1848 v. 1. FC Köln :

M: Anthony Modeste, Forward (KOE, 9.5M, 9%) - Köln attempted a fight with Bayern but ultimately failed as everyone usually does. Steffen Baumgart’s men will come out swinging to rebound and Modeste will be itching for a goal after coming very close to netting one against the champs.

D: Mark Uth, Forward (KOE, 9.2M, 1%) - Uth had a nice goal ruled back against Bayern and keeps showing why Baumgart has so much faith in him. Uth should be rewarding his manager soon for sticking together through thick and thin this season.

RB Leipzig v. VfL Wolfsburg:

M: André Silva, Forward (RBL, 16.9M, 8%) - Silva keeps on scoring so he should keep being selected for every manager’s squad. Wolfsburg are in shambles so Silva could actually have an outstanding match with multiple goals.

D: Yussuf Poulsen, Forward (RBL, 10.8M, 1%) - With all eyes on Silva, Poulsen could sneak through the cracks and have himself a breakout performance. Either way, Leipzig should take care of this match with ease with the form they are in at the moment.

Hertha BSC v. FC Bayern München:

M: Leroy Sané, Forward (FCB, 16.3M, 5%) - Two assists off the bench should earn him a spot in the starting lineup this weekend. That is three assists and a goal in his last three matches and he is definitely starting to turn up the heat at a crucial time of the season.

D: Corentin Tolisso, Midfielder (FCB, 9.2M, 1%) - This should be one of Tolisso’s last starts of the season before Goretzka makes his way back from injury. No doubt the worldly goal he scored last week will not happen again but he has scored and grabbed an assist in his last two games played so anything can happen.
