Lucas Alario wants to leave Leverkusen, agent confirms

Lucas Alario's agent has told Bild that the 29-year-old striker wants to leave Bayer Leverkusen in the summer.
Following the confirmation that Iranian forward Sardar Azmoun will be joining Bayer Leverkusen from Zenit this summer, Lucas Alario's agent has confirmed that his client is looking to leave the club.

"The plan is to leave Leverkusen in the summer," revealed Alario's agent, Pedro Aldave, in an interview with Bild.

"Lucas will then have finished a cycle there. In addition, other strikers are coming."

Asked if Alario could depart the club this month, Aldave responded:

"He will only go now if Bayer propose it. If the club decide to loan him out, we will see which is the best option."

The 29-year-old Argentine striker scored his first Bundesliga goal of the season against Augsburg last week after coming on as a substitute.
