Joshua Kimmich has declared himself "okay" with Bayern München's 1-1 draw with RB Salzburg.

Bayern found themselves 1-0 down at the break in the first leg of their Champions League round of 16 tie with the Austrian champions, but snatched a draw thanks to Kingsley Coman's late leveller.

Speaking after the game, Kimmich admitted Bayern didn't do enough before the break, but felt the German champions stepped up their game in the second half.

"We clearly had a lot more in mind," Kimmich told DAZN and added:

"In the first half, it wasn't quite enough. We weren't switched on enough winning the second balls, which kept giving Salzburg dangerous counter opportunities.

"We controlled the game better in the second half and applied more pressure. In the end we got the draw, which is okay with me, considering it could have been 2-0."
