Bayern München striker Sandro Wagner has been limited to just six appearances in all competitions this season.

Speaking after yesterday's 2-1 win over SV Rödinghausen in the DFB-Pokal, in which Wagner made his second start of the season and scored, the 30-year-old conceded that he's not playing as much as he would like to at the moment.

"I played my first Bundesliga game more than 10 years ago. I have been quite successful over the last few years. It was fun to score. Now, we've got to November already, and it's only my second game in the starting eleven. It's not what I'm aiming for," Wagner told Sport360.

Wagner, 30, joined Bayern München from Hoffenheim for €13 million in January 2018. His contract runs until 2020.
