Lewandowski passed fit to feature against Union

Bayern München coach Julian Nagelsmann has confirmed that Robert Lewandowski is fit to play against Union Berlin.
Robert Lewandowski has been passed fit for Bayern München's Bundesliga clash with Union Berlin tomorrow after shaking off a knee issue.

After missing training two days in a row, the Polish international was back on the pitch today. The same goes for Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, who has recovered from illness.

"'Lewy' and Choupo are back on board. 'Lewy' had minimal ligament problems when shooting and crossing. Leaving him out of training was purely a precautionary measure. He moved around well today, scored many goals and was in a very good mood," revealed Bayern coach Julian Nagelsmann at a press conference today.

Long-term absentees Alphonso Davies and Leon Goretzka will not play, with Benjamin Pavard and Niklas Süle out as well.

"I have a few ideas as to how I want to compensate for the absences," revealed Nagelsmann.
