Demirbay potentially facing ban for controversial post-match comments
Kerem Demirbay could be facing a ban for his heavy criticism of referee Felix Brych.
The German Football Association (DFB) is investigating the comments made by Kerem Demirbay following Bayer Leverkusen's 2-0 win over Wolfsburg on Sunday.
Demirbay, who could now be facing a ban, lashed out at referee Felix Brych, saying:
"The referee gets on my nerves so much. This is madness.
"I hope he doesn't whistle for us so often in the future."
The DFB has now called on Demirbay to make a statement before further steps are taken.
